Marples' 9" Square is crafted from hardwood and tempered, blued steel. It features a machined brass face for protection against damage and for accuracy. The blade is secured with brass round rivets. Wood color and grain pattern may vary. Logo color may also vary between gold and black.

Each square is tested for accuracy twice during its manufacture to exacting specifications.
